NIP Flash roamer Bellamy “Lolsie” Yeov praised Filipino standouts Jankurt “KurtTzy” Matira and Jaymark “Hadess” Lazaro for providing their massive impact in the team’s impressive campaign in the 2024 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Midseason Cup (MSC) so far.

The MPL Singapore champion, through the 1-2 punch of KurtTzy and Hadess, became the first team to qualify for the knockout stage after taking care of business in Group A, sweeping FireFlux Esports and RRQ Akira before settling for a draw against EVOS Glory for a 2-1-0 card.

Lolsie said that the locals learned a lot from their Filipino imports, stating that the team was able to enhance their macro plays through the guidance of KurtTzy and Hadess.

“So basically, them coming from the Philippines, they taught us a lot of macro gameplay,” said Lolsie.

“In Singapore, we used to play brawl. So with their addition [to the team], we can have more strategies to play definitely as seen in our group stage [matches]. We can do macro, and even when the Lord comes in, we now know how to use the Lord,” he added.

KurTtzy rose to the spotlight on Day 2, securing the Star of the Day plum after averaging 10 assists per game and powering the squad’s team fights with a participation rate of 77.8-percent, while Hadess provided a steady presence from the jungler position.

The former ECHO star showcased his phenomenal expertise of Pharsa in their sweep of RRQ Akira. He finished with a total of 20 assists and six kills against just three deaths against the Brazilian squad.
