KarlTzy’s Ling shines as Liquid ECHO sweeps Twisted Minds in MSC opener

Team Liquid ECHO had a strong showing on Day 1 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup on Wednesday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The reigning MPL Philippines champion swept Twisted Minds with a 2-0 victory to open its Group C campaign.

Benedict “BennyQt” Gonzales dominated Game 1 with his Moskov, dealing most of the damage for Liquid ECHO with nine kills, four assists, and two deaths, along with an impressive 931 Gold Per Minute.

In Game 2, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno made a remarkable comeback with his hero Ling, wreaking havoc by eliminating all heroes he encountered on the map. He finished with a perfect record of six kills and six assists.

In the other Group C game, the Wild Card winner HomeBois had an impressive start, defeating crowd favorites Team Spirit with a 2-0 sweep.

Liquid ECHO will next face Team Spirit and Wild Card winner HomeBois on July 5 at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively.

In Group A, Fire Flux Esports was defeated by NIP Flash in two games.
