SOURCES: Baloyskie, Hadess headed to Geek Fam ID

Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy and Mark “Hadess” Lazaro are set to reunite in MPL Indonesia.

According to Tiebreaker Times’ sources closely monitoring the situation, Baloyskie and Hadess have already agreed to sign with Geek Fam for the upcoming tenth season of MPL Indonesia.

Baloyskie recently secured his release from ONIC PH while Hadess – who would have signed with Malaysian squad Team SMG – was not renewed by ECHO last month.

MPL squads are only allowed to sign two imports per season.

Baloyskie and Hadess will be tasked to lead Geek Fam out of MPL Indonesia’s cellar.

Ever since joining the league in Season Four, the organization has yet to reach the playoffs and ended at 7th-8th place six consecutive times.

The two teamed up in Aura PH in the MPL Philippines Season Seven but settled for a bronze finish after losing to Execration in the lower bracket finals via sweep.

After that season, Baloyskie moved on to ONIC PH – his first professional team – while Hadess retained his jungler role when Aura PH decided to rebrand to ECHO. The former led his side to the grand finals of Season Eight and the M3 World Championships but fell both times to Blacklist International while the latter helped his rebuilding team to a 5th-6th place finish.

Season Nine proved to be a season to forget for both players. Baloyskie struggled to find his footing all throughout ONIC PH’s campaign. Meanwhile, Hadess rode the bench for the entirety of the tournament after taking the backseat to Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, who signed with the team during the off-season.

ONIC PH capped off the recent season at fourth place. On the other hand, ECHO finished at 5th-6th place for the second consecutive time.
