Farm Fresh lets go of Tagsip, Delerio, 2 others

Farm Fresh has officially parted ways with four players as the team begins to reshape its roster ahead of what could be one of the most significant off-seasons in the Premier Volleyball League’s professional era.

The Foxies announced Monday morning the departures of Ckyle Tagsip, Janel Delerio, Jane Gonzales, and AJ Jingco as they gear up for a crucial stretch that includes a loaded free agency class and the highly anticipated 2025 PVL Draft.

“Sending our heartfelt gratitude to Ckyle Tagsip, Janel Delerio, Jane Gonzales, and AJ Jingco for being a part of the Farm Fresh family and helping establish the squad,” the team said in a Facebook post.

“We hope that your stay was worth your while and we wish you all good luck in whatever is next in your careers. Thank you, Foxies.”

Tagsip was instrumental in Farm Fresh’s early campaigns, but her playing time gradually decreased as Lorene Toring returned from an ACL injury and reclaimed a spot in the rotation.

Delerio, who initially held the role of starting libero, also saw reduced minutes with the rise of veteran Jheck Dionela. The former UST defensive specialist still managed to average 2.82 digs per set during the recent All-Filipino Conference.

Tagsip spent three seasons with the Foxies, while Delerio had a two-season stint. Gonzales and Jingco, meanwhile, only saw action during the latest All-Filipino campaign.

With these roster changes, Farm Fresh appears to be gearing up for an aggressive off-season. High-profile free agents such as Ces Molina, Riri Meneses, Alyssa Eroa, and Eya Laure are all expected to hit the market — giving the Foxies a potential opportunity to bolster their lineup with experienced talent.

Farm Fresh also holds a 20-percent chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 PVL Draft lottery, marking their second consecutive year in the lottery. With major moves looming, the Foxies are clearly setting the stage for a leap forward in the upcoming season.
