Erram sent to medical facility after Game Four accident

Poy Erram will likely no longer return to TNT in Game Four of their Honda PBA Philippine Cup semifinal clash with San Miguel Beer, Sunday.

A broadcast report said that the 6-foot-7 slotman has been rushed to the hospital to undergo further checking after suffering an apparent head injury.

Play stopped at the 8:29-mark of the second period. Erram had slammed to the floor after chasing the loose ball versus counterpart Mo Tautuaa.

The 30-year-old had needed help from his teammates on the way to the bench. He was visibly in pain while clutching his face.

Erram left with just three points and two rebounds in the game. He was saddled with fouls, already having three in the first quarter alone.

The eight-year vet was just coming off a career game two days ago. There, he had 21 and 13 to help his side’s 115-98 rout.

The Tropang Giga are aiming for a 3-1 lead.
