Erika Raagas leaves Ateneo, signs with Akari

Akari has landed another Blue Eagle.

Erika Raagas has decided to enter the professional ranks, signing with the Power Chargers when they make their Premier Volleyball League debut this October.

The team made the announcement on Tuesday.

Coming from St. Mary’s College – Cagayan De Oro, the 5-foot-9 spiker committed to Ateneo de Manila University in 2018.

Raagas made her Ateneo debut during the 2018 PVL Open Conference when she played for Motolite.

Last season, Raagas was the 30th best scorer in the UAAP with 64 points.

Also signed by Akari were Dani Ravena and Jaja Maraguinot.

Akari also announced early this week that it got blockers Gen Casugod and Ezra Madrigal.

Completing Akari so far are Michelle Cobb, Jho Maraguinot, Trisha Genesis, and Lycha Ebon.
