Noli Eala’s term as Philippine Sports Commission chairman only lasted for exactly 120 days.
The Office of the President officially appointed Richard “Dickie” Bachmann as the new chairman of the agency on Wednesday.
He becomes the 12th chairman of the PSC.
Bachmann is an advocate of numerous sports, including basketball, baseball, athletics, and tennis.
The sports executive was previously the team governor of defunct PBA team Alaska.
Now he will have to wear many hats.
Bachmann is also the concurrent commissioner of UAAP basketball and PBA 3×3.
It is still unknown whether he will give up those posts.
Also appointed were two commissioners that will join Bong Coo, namely PHILSPADA secretary-general Wawit Torres and Cebu City Sports Commission chairman Edward Hayco.
