Converge got a coveted second first round pick in the 2023 PBA Rookie Draft.
The FiberXers have received Magnolia’s first round pick in the upcoming draft and Adrian Wong in exchange for big man Abu Tratter and athletic winger David Murrell.
The league approved the trade on Friday.
Converge is picking ninth in the upcoming draft — a pick they got from the Mike Digregorio, RK Ilagan, and Tyrus Hill trade with Blackwater. They now will also get to pick 10th.
They will also add former Ateneo guard Adrian Wong, who Aldin Ayo had been heaping high praise for since his days with De La Salle University a few years back.
Wong, a four-year pro, averaged 3.56 points and 1.29 rebounds last season.
Magnolia, meanwhile, gets Tratter and Murrell.
Tratter, who stands at 6-foot-5, normed 7.58 points and 5.03 rebounds last season.
Murrell, on the other hand, averaged 5.00 points and 2.07 rebounds in 27 games played last year.
