Blue Eagle Gym to host Gilas’ Window 1 home game vs Guam

The iconic Blue Eagle Gym is set to host a Gilas Pilipinas game for the first time ever.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas announced on Tuesday that the historic gym in Loyola Heights, Quezon City, will serve as the venue for the Philippines’ home game against Guam in the FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers Window 1.

Gilas will first face Guam on the road before returning to Manila for their home matchup.

Last October 11, the Blue Eagle Gym made its return to top-tier basketball when it hosted a UAAP Collegiate Men’s Basketball game for the first time in 20 years—featuring a clash between home team Ateneo and the University of Santo Tomas.
