Aura PH vents ire on H2wo, NXP Solid, gains top spot in MPL Group A

Coming off a deflating loss toBREN Esports last week, Aura PH shut down H2wo to hand NXP Solid a 2-0 sweep and claim the top spot in the Group A of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Six, Saturday evening.

Entering the 10-minute mark of Game Two, Aura PH had full control of the map along with an almost-9,000 gold advantage. Through the massive lead, Jaypee (Roger) and Killuash (Thamuz) took down the lord uncontested, forcing NXP at a defensive stance.

NXP Solid was able to swipe a kill on Renzio (Yu Zhong) up top, but Greed_ (Kagura) sealed the game with a triple kill on MB (Khaleed), Chester (Cyclops), and Yawi (Carmilla).

Jaypee led Aura in the KDA department with four kills, zero deaths, and eight assists in the series-clinching Game Two. Meanwhile, Greed, who dished out a total of 35,135 damage, finished with five kills, three deaths, and four assists for the 4-1 Aura PH.

Renzio — who played his first game in Season Six — had three kills, two deaths, and three assists. Rafflesia (Hilda) and Killuash had a combined total of 12 assists in Aura PH’s 14 kills.

On the other hand, Renejay (Chou) was the lone bright spot for NXP Solid, tallying four kills, a death, and two assists. The back-to-back champions put on the clamps on H2wo (Yi Sun Shin), who had no kills, a death, and five assists across his name.

NXP dropped to a 2-3 slate in Group A.

In other games, Blacklist International made quick work of BNK Blufire, 2-0, while ONIC PH gutted out a 2-1 victory over Omega PH.
