Asi Taulava activated by NLEX, set to play in record 24th season

Asi Taulava has been activated by NLEX for its game against TNT on Wednesday at Philsports Arena.

Once Taulava has been fielded during the game, he will break the record for most seasons played in the PBA at 24.

He was previously tied with the great Robert Jaworski.

The 50-year-old Fil-Tongan will also have his jersey retired during the halftime break of the game.

Coincidentally, Taulava also played for TNT during his first years in Asia’s first pay-for-play league.

Wednesday will also mark Robert Bolick’s debut with the Road Warriors, adding to the excitement for the game.
