In an exciting opening day to open the NCAA Season 91 Women’s Volleyball Tournament, the hosts Colegio de San Juan de Letran Knights started the festivities with a five-game slate that featured all the participating schools.
After an inspirational message by Petron Blaze Spiker Erica Adachi, the Arellano Chiefs began their title defense with a rout of the hosts. In the afternoon games, marquee stars Gretchel Soltones of San Sebastian College and Jeanette Panaga of College of Saint Benilde put on rousing performances to lead their respective teams to opening day victories.
