Choco Mucho reloads with ex-Cignal stars Dawn Catindig, Jewel Encarnacion

Former Cignal standout Dawn Catindig has signed with Choco Mucho for the 2026 Premier Volleyball League season.

The Flying Titans announced the major signing on Wednesday morning, while also adding another former Super Spiker in Jewel Encarnacion to strengthen their roster ahead of the new campaign.

Catindig brings defensive stability and veteran leadership to a Choco Mucho side looking to improve its floor defense and reception unit following a disappointing previous season.

The 29-year-old defensive ace is set to reunite with former Alas Pilipinas teammates Eya Laure, Maddie Madayag, and Sisi Rondina.

The Flying Titans finished fifth in the PVL on Tour before falling short of the semifinals in both the Reinforced and All-Filipino Conferences, where they placed ninth and seventh, respectively.

Meanwhile, Encarnacion is expected to provide instant offense and energy off the bench — a role she consistently embraced during her stint with Cignal.
