Galeries will seek to elevate its tower higher after securing the top overall pick in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League Rookie Draft.
The Highrisers defied the odds despite only having the second-best chance of landing the coveted first pick during Monday’s PVL Draft Lottery at the TV5 Media Center.
The Draft is set on June 3.
Galeries Tower picked Jean Asis last year with the second overall pick while taking Julia Coronel as the third selection in the 2024 Draft.
The Highrisers went into full rebuild mode to begin 2026, releasing all but four players in Asis, Coronel, Roselle Baliton, and Winnie Bedaña.
Leading the PVL aspirants this year are opposite spiker Alyssa Solomon, setter Camilla Lamina, middle blocker Niña Ytang, and libero Detdet Pepito.
