WATCH: Blue Eagles during Jones Cup opening ceremony


Saturday afternoon, the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles made history. The defending UAAP Men’s Basketball Champions became the first-ever collegiate team that the Philippines has sent over to the William Jones Cup.

The Blue Eagles are composed of Thirdy Ravena, Isaac Go, Matt Nieto, Mike Nieto, Adrian Wong, Aaron Black, Gian Mamuyac, Jolo Mendoza, Anton Asistio, Raffy Verano, Tyler Tio, Jawuan White, BJ Andrade, Angelo Kouame, Patrick Maagdenberg, and William Navarro.

Ateneo Pilipinas will open their campaign against Chinese-Taipei (White) on Sunday, July 15, at 5:00pm.
