SMART Araneta begins selling of FIBA WC Qualifiers tickets


Gilas Pilipinas’ sixth man will attend the Quezon City window of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

During the telecast of Wednesday’s Philippine Basketball Association games, it was announced that tickets are already on sale for the games slated on February 24-28.

With the PBA opening its doors to fans starting today, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas was also able to gain clearance from the Quezon City local government unit to open the games to the public.

Only two sections will be open for the fans – lower and upper boxes.

Tickets cost P500 for lower box and P200 for upper box. Tickets are available at TicketNet.

On February 24, New Zealand faces India at 3:00 PM, followed by Gilas versus South Korea at 6:00 PM.

It’s New Zealand versus Korea at 3:00 PM while Gilas take on India at 6:00PM.

After a day break from action, India squares off against South Korea at 4:30 PM, followed by Gilas versus Tall Blacks at 7:00 PM.

To close out the window, India looks to stun New Zealand at 3:00 PM. Meanwhile, Gilas-Korea II takes place at 6:0 0PM.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, February 17 at 12PM in all TicketNet outlets and online via www.ticketnet.com.ph.

Following the IATF Guidelines, only fully-vaccinated individuals aged 12 years old and above will be allowed. Fans are required to present their vaccination cards together with any valid ID / government-issued ID with picture, and use of a face mask inside the arena is mandatory. Food will only be allowed at the concourse of the coliseum, not at the audience area. Finally, a strict ā€˜No Kyusi pass, no entry’ policy (even for non-QC Residents) will be implemented.
