“Being a Pirate, one that has taught me the value of teamwork, perseverance, and resilience. As I reflect on my time at LPU, I am very much grateful for the opportunities, memories, and friendships that have enriched my playing career and my life,” his post continued.

“Wishing everyone continued success in our own chosen path! VIVA PIRATA!”

Umali is currently playing for CV Siniloan in the Pilipinas Super League.

With this move, the former Squire is eyeing either a transfer to another NCAA school. Multiple sources closely monitoring the situation have told Tiebreaker Times that a Letran homecoming is possible.
