Galeries Tower announced the departure of team captain Julia Coronel on Tuesday, bringing an end to her two-year stint with the Highrisers.
Drafted third overall by the same squad in the inaugural Premier Volleyball League Draft in 2024, the former La Salle standout quickly became a key piece of Galeries Tower, emerging as one of the few constants on a roster that underwent several changes over the past two seasons.

Coronel also made her mark on the international stage during her time with the Highrisers, becoming a regular member of the Alas Pilipinas pool.
With the 5-foot-9 playmaker now moving on, her departure opens the door for 2026 PVL Draft top pick Lams Lamina to take on an immediate starting role and assume the reins at the heart of Galeries Tower’s lineup.
