SEAG Federation awards Malaysia hosting of 2027 Games


Malaysia will host the 34th edition of the Southeast Asian Games.

The Southeast Asia Games Federation (SEAGF) unanimously awarded the hosting of the 2027 edition of the tournament to Malaysia.

The SEAGF Meeting took place at the Vietnam National Convention Centre on Thursday.

This will be the seventh time that Malaysia will host the Games.

Cambodia will be hosting the 32nd SEA Games next year, while Thailand will host the 33rd edition in 2025.

Meanwhile, Philippine Olympic Committee president Bambol Tolentino also appealed during the meeting regarding the doping compliance issues handed to the nine-member Philippine bodybuilding team.
