What would you do if Sadako shows up in front of you?
Surely, the majority of us would feel so shocked to the core that we might only scream. And some of the PBA players reacted just like that to the exact scenario.
Wait, what?
Don’t fret, though. There was no such paranormal occurrence inside the bubble. Somebody just thought of disguising as the famous ‘The Ring’ antagonist for the sake of pulling off a Halloween prank.
Who did that, though?
Ryan Araña.
Yes.
The Rain or Shine veteran suited up as Sadako, complete with a white robe and long black hair covering his face to mimic the character that has surely haunted millions in their dreams.
Among those victimized were his fellow Elasto Painters Norbert Torres, and rookies Clint Doliguez and Vince Tolentino.
And Araña didn’t just spook the Rain or Shine boys. Jonathan Grey, whom he played with during his time with the NorthPort Batang Pier, was also on the receiving end of his antics.
And, of course, the 37-year-old didn’t forget his former Rain or Shine teammate in Raymond Almazan, who was extremely frightened — he could only hurl expletives while chuckling.
Araña posted the four-minute-long video of his Halloween prank both on Facebook and Instagram on Saturday night. And if you’re wondering how terrified the players were, watch the video for yourself.
