The Cool Smashers strengthened their hold of the top spot after dispatching the Cargo Movers in 85 minutes to improve its immaculate slate to 6-0.

“Sobrang saya namin kasi yung preparation namin naging effective yung resulta,” said Creamline head coach Sherwin Meneses, who inserted Bernadeth Pons in the lineup in lieu of Michele Gumabao.

“Naging maganda, nakakuha kami ng panalo especially, ‘di naman totally bagong first six pero yung mga pinasok ngayong araw nag-deliver naman so masaya kami sa panalong ‘to talaga,” added Meneses.

The Cool Smashers pulled away late in the third set after Kyle Negrito kick-started a 3-0 blast where she scored off a 1-2 play and an ace which put her side ahead, 20-12.

Creamline ran off from there as Jeanette Panaga, Michele Gumabao, and Pons delivered the crucial attacks to seal the victory.
