Petro Gazz keeps hold of top spot, sends Motolite packing


The Petro Gazz Angels remain perched atop the PVL Reinforced Conference standings to close out the elimination round after overwhelming the backs-against-the-wall Motolite in straight sets, 25-19, 25-15, 25-15, Saturday evening at the FilOil Flying V Centre.

The imports of Petro Gazz led the way anew, as Janisa Johnson and Wilma Salas finished with 15 and 14 markers, respectively.

Meanwhile, Motolite bowed out of Final Four contention. They ended their PVL campaign with a 3-7 win-loss record.
