Fresh from her recent campaign with Wuhan in the Women’s Chinese Basketball Association, Animam now sets her sights on Australia.
Animam inked a deal with the NBL1 team Ringwood on Wednesday, marking the next chapter in her illustrious career.
Jeremy O’Toole, the head coach of Ringwood, expressed his team’s enthusiasm in acquiring Animam, highlighting their admiration for her journey thus far.
“We’re incredibly fortunate to bring Jack to Ringwood, we have been following her journey for a while now and really excited to finally have her here,” O’Toole conveyed to The Philippine Times.
During her tenure with Shengfan in China, Animam showcased her versatility on the court, averaging an impressive 11.4 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game.
Despite her stellar performance, Shengfan concluded the season with a 10-26 record, securing the 14th spot in the league standings.
This upcoming stint with Ringwood marks Animam’s fifth venture abroad, having previously showcased her talents with Radnicki (Serbia), Toulouse, and Mondeville (France).
With her wealth of experience and skill set, Animam is poised to make a significant impact on the NBL1 stage.
Fans eagerly anticipate Animam’s debut in the NBL1, scheduled for April 3, where she aims to continue her legacy of excellence on the basketball court.
