MSC: Blacklist makes quick work of Fire Flux, sets up clash with Burn X Flash


PHNOM PENH — Blacklist International set up a clash with home team Burn X Flash following a 3-0 win over Fire Flux Impunity in the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup at the Aeon Mall Mean Chey here, Thursday.

Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna (Diggie) and Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo (Valentina) spearheaded Blacklist International’s 21-5 Game 1 romp of Fire Flux Impunity.

The former finished with a game-high 17 assists along with a kill and two deaths while the rookie had nine kills and nine assists against one death in just 11 minutes and 51 seconds of game time.

It was Howard “Owl” Gonzales (Beatrix) who stepped up in Game 2 as the Tier One-backed squad had to comeback from an earltly deficit en route to a 12-6 Game 2 triumph in almost 20 minutes of action.

Owl delivered six kills and an assists against a death in Game 2.

The three-time MPL PH champion then bagged Game 3 for the sweep.

The Blacklist International-Burn X Flash match-up will take place on Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
