Jimmy Butler has made a name for himself in the NBA bubble for two reasons: leading the Miami Heat to the Finals, and running his coffee business “Big Face Coffee”.
And with the PBA teams arriving in Clark, Pampanga for the league’s own rendition of the bubble, Magnolia star Paul Lee brought with him equipment to make coffee, too — just like Butler.
“Kung alam ko lang na ganon, baka magtayo na ako ng coffee shop dito sa kwarto kung diretso Finals talaga,” said Lee on 2OT.
Roommate Jack Corpuz has been providing updates on his Instagram account of Lee’s coffee-making.
And in his daily stories, Corpuz has already dubbed the 6-foot combo guard as the “Lethal Coffee”.
But beyond trying to replicate Butler’s coffee-making luck in the NBA, Lee brought his own coffee equipment to have a new hobby in the bubble. After all, the players will stay locked up to play ball in Clark for the next two months or so.
And with the teams staying in Clark for a minimum of a month, Lee has set a new goal for him to reach during his free time — and of course, it’s about coffee.
When the bubble is all done, Lee might make a career out of his new hobby.
