Fnatic Onic remains unbeaten in MPL PH after narrow win over Team Liquid PH

Fnatic Onic Philippines (FNOP) remained undefeated through three matches after narrowly escaping with a 2-1 victory against Team Liquid PH in Week 2 of MPL Philippines Season 14 on Saturday at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati City.

FNOP now shares the top spot with Smart Omega, both teams boasting identical 3-0 records.

Game 1 was a closely contested affair that hinged on an 18th-minute lord dance. King “K1NGKONG” Perez (Ling) secured the objective, while Borris “Brusko” Parro (Minotaur) executed a game-changing 4-man Minoan Fury, resulting in a 4-1 trade-off in favor of FNOP.

Duane “Kelra” Pillas (Ruby) then delivered a spectacular performance during the 19th-minute base turret siege, scoring a maniac killing streak and clinching the opener, 1-0. His outstanding performance earned him the Game MVP title with a stellar 8-1-10 KDA.

In Game 2, after suffering a lopsided loss, Brusko (Tigreal) turned the tide with a crucial two-man Implosion setup during a 13th-minute fight.

This play led to a decisive 4-0 wipeout of Team Liquid PH, allowing the Hedgehogs to push through the midlane inhibitor turret and secure the win.
