Chery Tiggo taps Montenegrin Jelena Cvijovic as import


Chery Tiggo announced the signing of Jelena Cvijovic for the 2022 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference, the team announced on Tuesday.

Cvijoviv is a 6-foot-1 outside hitter from Montenegro who last played for SCM U Craioava in Romania.

She will be joining a rebuilding Crossovers side that were coming off a subpar eighth-place finish in the Invitational Conference.

After the conference, the team released Maika Ortiz, Rachel Austero, Joy Dacoron, Justine Dorog, Julia Angeles, Ariane Layug, and Elaine Kasilag.

Set to lead the squad are Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Mylene Paat, Shaya Adorador, Budingh Duremdes, and Jasmine Nabor.

The Reinforced Conference will begin on October 8.
