Justin Brownlee is set to make his Ginebra return after a year-long absence.
The 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Best Import will look to give Ginebra its fourth straight Governors’ Cup when the import-laden conference opens later this month.
Despite his absence in the league, Brownlee, 33, has been active. He played for Al Sharjah in the UAE National Basketball League.
Magnolia and San Miguel, though, won’t be left behind.
The Hotshots tapped former Alaska import Mike Harris.
Harris, the oldest import in the batch at 38, played for the Aces during the 2017-18 Governors’ Cup.
He played for KBA’s Changwon and Al-Ahli Club after his stint with Alaska.
On the other hand, San Miguel got ex-Phoenix import Brandon Brown.
Brown, 36, played for Phoenix in the 2017 Governors’ Cup. He became a mainstay in the KBA afterward, playing for Incheon, Jeonju, and Anyang.
NorthPort will bring in Cameron Forte, a five-year pro who has played in Mexico, Hungary, Kosovo, and Canada. Meanwhile, Terrafirma got Antonio Hester, a nine-year pro who played as an import in numerous European clubs.
