ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon Vera welcomed a new member to his family, Saturday.
Vera’s wife Jessica Craven gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Atreyu Timothy.
And it was a surprise for the couple, who got married back in 2018, as they were expecting the baby to come out on August 5.
“So we were finishing up a game of Mobile Legends then Jessica got up and said I have to pee then boom! Water is leaking, we go to the ER,” recalled Vera in his Instagram post.
“The awesome nurses start doing their thing and tell us okay we’re gonna admit you now and we were like, ‘He’s not due until August Five!”
The delivery went normally.
For Vera, the entire nine-month ordeal was a testament to the strength of Craven.
“Nenja is my Wonder Woman! I love you so, so very much! Thank you for taking and making this journey happen ‘lil mamma.”
Vera (16-8-1) has been training in Guam as he preps for a showdown with former Olympian Arjan Bhullar (10-1).
The bout was supposed to take place last May, but ONE Championship had to postpone it due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic.
