B.League: Toyama bows to Osaka in Dwight’s return

After missing their weekend slate due to quarantine, Dwight Ramos returned to Toyama on Wednesday.

However, Ramos’ return was not enough to lift the Grouses past the Osaka Evessa, suffering a 66-76 upset in the 2021-22 B.League season at Ookini Arena Maishima.

Ramos was plugged in as a starter for the contest, playing 20 minutes for nine points on 4-of-8 shooting with five rebounds.

It has been a roller-coaster month for the Grouses though, losing its second game in four tries.

Osaka went up to 15-20 in the standings, technically above the 16-23 Toyama in the west.

Up next for the Grouses are the Kyoto Hannaryz on Wednesday at Toyama City Gymnasium.
