Alex Cabagnot signs two-year extension with Terrafirma

Alex Cabagnot will go on to play until his 19th year in the Philippine Basketball Association.

The 39-year-old guard has signed a two-year extension with Terrafirma on Thursday.

“Grateful for where I’m at, excited to where I’m going,” he wrote on his Instagram account, adding the numbers 18th and 19th.

Cabagnot spent almost 11 years with San Miguel before getting traded to Terrafirma on November 13, 2021.

The 2017 Commissioner’s Cup Finals MVP though played only four games for the Dyip after suffering an Achilles tear during their game against NLEX last December 18, 2021.

Cabagnot averaged 12.0 points, 7.5 assists, and 6.5 rebounds in those four games.

The 6-foot guard can rejoin the team as early as July.
