Is there something bothering JVee Casio?
Scoreless for the past two games, the cool and calculating guard of Alaska has been the weakest link of the squad.
In Games 4 and 5, Casio combined for 0-for-10 shooting from the field , but Alaska coach Alex Compton believes the ex-La Salle guard will break out of his shooting slump any time now.
“JVee will be fine,” said Compton during the post game interview.
Casio has been outplayed by his counterparts the past two games and his lack of production has hurt Alaska.
Known for his timely baskets, Casio was held scoreless for the first time in his career in Game 4. Making matters worse, he had a repeat performance in Game 5.
For Alaska to have a better shot at winning the next few games, Casio needs to find a way to get out of the worst slump of his career.
