The Green Archers tried to score the game-winner in the next possession but Kevin Quiambao failed to convert in the paint.

Come the extended period, Magbuhos sank a three in the 1:52 mark period to give the Soaring Falcons an 86-84 edge. CJ Austria had two free throws to equalize but he failed to make both.

Evan Nelle then had a late drive to the rim but he missed the target as Adamson was the victor of a hard-fought game.

“It was our second overtime game this season and right after regulation, we reminded the players we should have learned our lesson in that previous overtime game against UP, where we forced the overtime but first couple of minutes, nag-slack off kami that’s why we lost that game to UP,” said Adamson coach Nash Racela.

“But today, it was nice that we were able to remind them and it was nice that they were able to respond positively. That’s how you’re able to win ball games,” the former UAAP champion coach continued.

Jerom Lastimosa led the Soaring Falcons with 29 points, eight rebounds, and six assists in close to 35 minutes of action. Joshua Yerro had 13 points while Douanga produced 13 points and 10 rebounds.
