The PBA Commissioner’s Office has slapped Terrence Romeo with a PHP 20,000 fine after the San Miguel player incurred a flagrant foul penalty two during the Beermen’s 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup clash versus NLEX in Dubai last week.
The flashy guard got the call after headbutting Philip Paniamogan at the 10:23-mark of the third quarter.
Officials automatically ejected Romeo from the match following the F2. He left with three assists, two points, and two rebounds.
San Miguel still managed to beat the Road Warriors, 98-94, to extend their unbeaten run to three.
Romeo was one of the two Beermen ejected from that game, the other being Kelly Nabong.
The 6-foot-6 bruiser left the match with 4:04 left to play after slamming the ball on the floor, which led to his second technical foul of the game. He left with three points, three rebounds, an assist, and a block.
Commissioner Willie Marcial, though, said that they have yet to determine whether they will fine Nabong or not.
