Santos posterized again, doesn’t mind getting dunked on

For the second time in the PBA Philippine Cup, Arwind Santos has found himself on the wrong end of a poster dunk, this time against TNT rookie Moala Tautuaa who scored a one-hand tomahawk slam over the San Miguel Beermen forward.

The posterization came a few games after Meralco rookie Chris Newsome dunked on Santos during the Beermen’s match against the Bolts. [READ: Tautuaa vs. The Spiderman]

Santos still had the last laugh as San Miguel dominated Talk ‘N Text, 97-84. Santos poured a game-high 30 points on 12-for-20 shooting and hauled down 12 rebounds.

Later, the veteran said such instances happen, especially when his challenge wasn’t “meant to block.”

Kung titingnan mo, four fouls ako nun e,” he said.

Santos took the highlight in jest, even joking that he is no exception to getting dunked on. The only thing that matters for him is being in the league.

Kahit sabihin mong dakdakan ako ni Monfort, so what diba? Walang masama doon.

The 2012-13 league MVP added the Beermen’s chemistry has gotten better, and it’s what’s making the team difficult to stop.

And as far as Santos is concerned, he doesn’t mind getting dunked on. Not at all when San Miguel are 9-1 overall and are closer to booking an outright semi-finals slot.
