PBA fans in Lucena City, Quezon Province will be able to witness another exciting affair as the league announced Tuesday it will stage either Game 2 or Game 3 of the Philippine Cup finals in the city.

The game shall take place on Friday, January 22, at the Quezon Convention Center which holds a capacity of about 7,000.

It is not the first time the PBA shall be having an out of town finals game as they have staged in the past match-ups in Palawan and Cebu, to name a few places.

The last finals game to take place outside of Manila was the Talk ‘N Text-Powerade All-Filipino Cup finals, when the Tropang Texters jumpstarted their finals with a 116-100 Game 1 win over the Tigers in Digos City, Davao Del Sur.

Both semi-finals series have already started, with Globalport and San Miguel holding 1-0 leads over counterparts Alaska and Rain or Shine, respectively.
