After four days of competition featuring 10 teams from seven nations—the Philippines, India, Brunei, South Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, and Pakistan—the 2026 Asia Pacific Padel Cup officially concluded in Manila.
Organized by Padel Pilipinas, the officially recognized NSA for padel by the Philippine Olympic Committee and the Philippine Sports Commission, the tournament showcased the sport’s continued growth across the Asia-Pacific region. Teams competed in the Professional and Amateur Divisions across the men’s, women’s, and mixed categories.
Padel Pilipinas successfully defended its crown to become back-to-back Professional Division champions, delivering a dominant performance throughout the tournament.
The Philippine team capped its title run with a commanding 3-0 sweep in the finals, further cementing its status as one of the region’s premier padel teams.
Pakistan’s Prescott Development Team finished as first runner-up, while Ace Padel India Team claimed second runner-up honors.
Leading the list of individual awardees were Padel Pilipinas standouts Jason Tamayo and Tao Yee Tan, who were named the Professional Division’s Male and Female MVPs, respectively.
Both players delivered outstanding performances throughout APPC 2026, securing crucial victories and consistently rising to the occasion in high-pressure matches.
Taiwan gopadel made an impressive tournament debut by capturing the Amateur Division championship in its first appearance at the APPC. P
