MPL PH: Micophobia shines as ONIC outlasts ECHO


Mico “Micophobia” Quitlong stepped up in ONIC PH’s 2-1 reverse sweep of ECHO in MPL Philippines Season Nine on Friday night.

He starred in the Game Two win with two kills and seven assists against one death on Popol and Kupa. Micophobia then had four kills, two deaths, and four assists as Selena in the 13-13 Game Three win to complete the upset.

The MPL PH Season Eight grand finalist upped its tally to 17 points off a 7-5 standing to remain at the fourth spot.

Meanwhile, ECHO remained at the second spot with 25 points and an 8-4 slate.

ONIC PH will face the top-ranked RSG PH to cap off its elimination campaign tomorrow at 8:00 PM while ECHO will finally get the chance to take on Nexplay EVOS on Sunday also at 8:00 PM.
