MP The King takes blame for reverse sweep loss against Deus Vult

Michael “MP The King” Endino delivered an emotional speech on the stage while teary-eyed after See You Soon’s foiled bid in the M5 World Championship, collapsing against Deus Vult via reverse sweep.

His pain comes from the thought that he had no one to blame for the loss but himself.

Parang ayun yung naglead kung bakit pumangit yung laro ko,” shared MP The King in an exclusive interview with Tiebreaker Times.

“After kasi namin sila ma 2-0, tingin namin andali nilang kalaban.

See You Soon suffered from an emotional roller coaster after reaching match point while dominating the first two games of the series before suffering a comeback loss in Game 3 which was the longest match of the day at 31 minutes.

What followed were two games that saw Deus Vult revise the script and dominate the Cambodian representatives finishing the final two games in less than 11 minutes each to complete a massive fightback.

Although already down and out of the tournament, MP The King is already gearing up for another international tour of duty with See You Soon in 2024.

“Maipapangako ko na sa susunod na MPL KH, kukunin namin ang championship at magrerepresent ulit sa MSC at sa M6 nang mas malakas,” said a resolved MP The King.
