RSG PH pooled with Singaporean sister team in MSC


RSG PH will take on a familiar face in Group B while Omega Esports will have a tall order in Group C come the 2022 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup.

The reigning MPL Philippines champion will be joined by sister team RSG Singapore in Group B and MPL KH Spring runner up See You Soon of Cambodia.

On the other hand, the SMART-backed squad is grouped with MPL Indonesia titlist RRQ Hoshi and Mekong Qualifier winner IDONOTSLEEP Esports of Thailand.

RSG PH will feature Dylan “Light” Catipon, Jhonard “Demonkite” Caranto, Arvie “Aqua” Calderon, Nathanael “Nathzz” Estrologo, Eman “EMANN” Sangco, and Dexter “Exort” Martinez.

Meanwhile, Omega Esports will have Duane “Kelra” Pillas, Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic, Renz “Renzio” Cadua, Dean “Raizen” Sumagui, and Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso.

Composing Group A are MPL Malaysia champion Todak, MPL Indonesia second placer ONIC Esports, and Myanmar qualifier winner Falcon Esports.

Lastly, Group D will have MPL KH Spring champion Impunity KH of Cambodia, MPL Malaysia silver medalist Orange Esports, and MPL Singapore runner up EVOS SG.

The annual regional tournament will raise its curtains on June 11 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
