Lorene Toring’s final season with Adamson cut short by devastating ACL injury

In a heart-wrenching announcement, Adamson University middle blocker Lorene Toring shared news of her devastating ACL injury, which dashes her hopes of competing in her final UAAP season with the Lady Falcons.

Toring’s on-court prowess and leadership have been instrumental to the team’s success over the past four seasons.

She expressed a mix of emotions as she bid farewell to her beloved team and the Adamson community.

In a statement, she reflected on the journey that led her to this pivotal moment.

“As I prepare to embark on the next chapter of my journey, as I sit down to write this farewell message, I am filled with different emotions. While it pains me to say goodbye to the team that has been such a significant part of my life, I am also filled with gratitude for the journey that has led me to this moment,” Toring expressed.

The talented athlete acknowledged the unforeseen turn of events, acknowledging that despite her dreams of closing out her UAAP career on the court, fate had other plans.

With a heavy heart, the 23-year-old native of Cebu revealed that an ACL injury has sidelined her indefinitely, forcing her to shift her focus towards recovery and resilience.
