Kryklia, Nong-O dominate in title defenses at ONE: Collision Course

Roman Kryklia and Nong-O Gaiyanghadao walked into the Singapore Indoor Stadium with their World Titles on their shoulders, and they left the same way.

The pair of World Champions from different sports dominated their respective opponents to retain their straps at ONE: Collision Course on Friday, December 18.

Kryklia put on a striking masterclass in the main event to score a unanimous decision win over Andrei “Mister KO” Stoica and keep his ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title.

The Ukrainian juggernaut was too big, too quick, and ultimately too good for Stoica, who, for the better part of five rounds, was on the wrong end of a one-sided beatdown.

Kryklia earned the unquestionable unanimous decision win and defended his strap for the first time since winning the belt last year.

The co-main event, on the other hand, ended a bit quicker.

Nong-O needed just three rounds to dispatch Rodlek PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym and keep his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title.

It was a lightning-quick cross that ended the night for Rodlek as Nong-O caught him rushing in with a one-two combination to seal the knockdown.

As much as he tried to return to his feet, Rodlek was too wobbled from the punch and failed to beat the referee’s count.

The victory was Nong-O’s seventh in as many matches in ONE Super Series, and after beating yet another contender for his strap, he’s now setting his eyes on ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Champion Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan.
