Jeff Chan traded to Ginebra

For the second time in a year, 10-year veteran Jeff Chan has been shipped.

Monday morning, the 6-foot-2 sniper from Bacolod was traded by the Phoenix Fuel Masters to the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. Phoenix will only get Ginebra’s first round pick in the 2018 Rookie Draft.

This trade comes in the wake of Phoenix’s alarming four-game skid that dropped their record to 3-6.

Last Saturday, the Fuel Masters lost to Rain or Shine, 106-108, with Chan dropping 26 points.

Chan was traded to Phoenix by Rain or Shine back in August of 2017.

Barangay Ginebra, on the other hand, are just half-a-game away from a playoff spot in the Commissioner’s Cup race. The Gin Kings own a 3-5 slate.

Chan is averaging 11.56 points on 35 percent shooting from downtown to go along with 4.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists.
