With the Hollis-Jefferson brothers dealing with a family matter, TNT has decided to tap another import for the resumption of the 2026 PBA Governors’ Cup.
Nick Hornsby will suit up for the Tropang 5G in the meantime.
TNT team manager Jojo Lastimosa shared that both Rondae and Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson are currently in the United States for the wake of their grandmother. The burial of the Hollis-Jefferson matriarch is scheduled for October 2, leaving TNT just five days before it returns to action on October 7 against Terrafirma.
Hornsby will be TNT’s third import of the conference.
Darius Days played the first four games for TNT, averaging 16.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game as the Tropang 5G went 2-2.

Rahlir then took over for the next four games, also posting a 2-2 record while averaging 23.67 points and 11.67 rebounds per game.
In Hornsby, TNT gets an import who is already familiar with the Southeast Asian style of play. Hornsby is coming off a stint with IBL team Jakarta, where he averaged 23.62 points, 12.19 rebounds, 4.86 assists, and 2.81 steals per game.
The Sacramento State product also had stints in Germany, Israel, Canada, and Mexico after going undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft.
Rondae is expected to rejoin TNT by the quarterfinals of the Governors’ Cup, should the Tropang 5G advance that far.
