Ironman streak still alive as LA Tenorio checks in Ginebra’s first PBA bubble game

That’s Game no. 642 chalked up for LA Tenorio.

The 36-year-old floor general of Ginebra checked in with 2:55 left in their game against NLEX, Sunday evening at the AUF Sports Arena & Cultural Center.

Tenorio had one rebound and one assist, while also being a plus-seven. He was then subbed out early in the second stanza.

This is another incredible feat by the 5-foot-9 floor general, who is coming off an emergency procedure just a few weeks ago.

After experiencing unusual pain in his stomach, Tenorio went under the knife for a laparoscopic appendectomy.

He only arrived in the PBA Clark Bubble last Wednesday, and only joined his first scrimmage last night.

Tenorio has yet to miss a game since being drafted by the San Miguel Beermen as the fourth overall pick in the 2006 PBA Rookie Draft.
