Akari refused to let its heartbreaking loss to Galeries Tower linger, regrouping just in time to turn back Choco Mucho in a thrilling five-set battle, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21, 19-25, 16-14, in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference Siklab Series on Saturday night at the Philsports Arena.
After seeing its comeback from a 0-2 deficit fall short against the Highrisers, the Chargers made sure they would not suffer another heartbreaking defeat, holding off the Flying Titans in a nail-biting fifth set to improve to 3-3.
Meanwhile, Choco Mucho absorbed its second consecutive loss, dropping to an identical 3-3 record.
