FIBA: Gilas Women dealt OT heartbreak by Malaysia in U18 Women’s semis


Gilas Pilipinas Women kissed their Division A hopes goodbye after being dealt a 65-66 overtime heartbreak by Malaysia in the semifinals of the 2022 FIBA Under-18 Women’s Asian Championship Division B, Saturday at Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru, India.

With Gilas holding a 65-64 lead with 10 seconds left, Yun Enn Ng found Sammi Tan for the go-ahead basket.

Kate Bobadilla missed a layup as time expired.

The Philippines dropped to the third place game.
