FEU-D books UAAP 82 Boys’ Basketball playoff berth as NU-NS goes to 10-0

Far Eastern University-Diliman booked a playoff berth after dismantling University of the East, 70-46, Wednesday in the UAAP Season 82 Boys’ Basketball Tournament at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Up by just two entering the second quarter, 11-9, the Baby Tamaraws limited UE to just four points the entire period while canning 15 points to break the game wide open at halftime, 26-13.

Patrick Sleat’s basket in the 1:36 mark of the fourth frame gave FEU-D its biggest lead of the game at 25, 64-39.

“Maganda yung defense namin kanina. Kailangan lang namin maging consistent lalo na’t malapit na nga ang playoffs kaya dapat consistent na kami on both ends of the court,” said Baby Tamaraws coach Allan Albano after his squad improved to 9-1.
