Undefeated flyweight Giemel Magramo will get the chance to be crowned champion when he faces Jeny Boy Boca for the vacant WBC International flyweight title on December 12, 2015 at The Flash Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex in Parañaque City.
Magramo (14-0, 11 KOs), who has just come off a TKO victory over Roilo Golez in the undercard of Jonathan Taconing-Jomar Fajardo Oriental Pacific Boxing Federation title fight last September, will face fellow 21-year old Boca (10-2, 10 KOs), who also scored a knockout victory of his own in his last fight in General Santos City.
A product of the Elorde Boxing Stable, the 21-year old “Pistolero” has been preparing for the opportunity to fight for the belt, seeing it as a stepping stone to improve the life of his family, “Masaya ako na nakatapak na ako sa international dahil ito ang pag-asa ko (umahon) sa hirap.”
“Mahaba-haba din ang ensayo, mahigit dalawang buwan din kaya kundisyon tayo sa laban na ito,”
In addition to the title fight, brothers Juan Martin and Juan Miguel Elorde plan to continue their winning ways as they return to the ring as part of the undercard.
Both “Bai” and “Mig” emerged victorious in their last assignments, stopping Indonesian foes Yakobus Heluka and Arnold Mau respectively.
