Dwight Ramos continues to find ways to give back to the place his family calls home.
With the help of Titan Management Group, the agency representing the Gilas Pilipinas mainstay and Levanga Hokkaido guard, Ramos returned to Narvacan and led a series of community-driven activities aimed at inspiring young athletes and strengthening his connection to his father’s hometown.
“It’s my homecoming,” said Ramos.
“I want to be able to inspire the next generation especially in my dad’s hometown. The court mural was a perfect way to set the path for the youth.”
The outreach program opened at the Narvacan People’s Center, where Ramos led a basketball clinic alongside his brother Eli Ramos, Francis Lopez of Fighting Eagles Nagoya, and Jack Cruz-Dumont of Blackwater.
The group ran through basic basketball drills, teaching fundamentals such as ball-handling, passing, and shooting, while also engaging the kids in fun games and interactive activities.
The session wrapped up with a meet-and-greet, giving participants a chance to interact closely with their idols.
Ramos also made a stop at Barangay Paratong Elementary School, where he was warmly received by school officials and community leaders.
He delivered a short inspirational message to the students, encouraging them to stay disciplined and believe in their potential.
The visit carried deeper meaning for the Ramos family, as the school’s extension building—donated by the family—stands as a lasting symbol of their ties to the community.
The day’s activities then shifted into a celebration of homecoming as Ramos joined a parade alongside the Narvacan marching band.
The parade moved through the town streets en route to the newly completed court mural site, with residents lining the route to welcome him back and celebrate his journey from Narvacan to the international stage.
The program culminated in the unveiling of the Dwight Ramos court mural, a permanent artwork that now anchors the barangay court.
The mural blends elements of Narvacan’s identity as an agricultural and coastal town—featuring imagery of bagnet, Bantay Abot, the Spanish shipwreck, and coastal waves.
Titan Management Group founder PJ Pilares emphasized that the initiative is part of a broader vision beyond basketball.
“It’s been our mission to be able to give back to his roots,” said Pilares.
“This is all part of our Legacy Building Project with TMG. We’re glad that the City of Narvacan was able to accommodate us and host this event.”
